Moments

No, it doesn't seem long

Since you've gone away.

Last night, lying there with you

While loves' irridescent

Soft glow played sweet

Melodies upon your face.

Your fingers, feeling

Smooth solemness upon my lips, my cheeks. Wrapped in comfortable warmth,

Minds and bodies intertwined, making one. Outside, the thawing lake

Whispers fissuring, gentle sounds

While twinkling in the night, rhythmically It knows...

The snowman, built in light,.

Has delved into the depts unknown.

No longer a man at all.

And here we are alone,

Together as two can be.

Pure, unbedeviled ecstasy Has never been heightened.

Nor explored as tonight, tonight.

Sleep has showered you, but me,

I lay awake, thinking never let me go.

Please never, but....

It is noon.

I am alone, sweatered up.

Sitting by the window,

Gazing out, seeing only your illusion.

Now, the radiator's hissing,

And suddenly, it seems so cold.

POETRY

I want to live,

God, I want to live;

I want to love,

I need to love.

I feel lonely, sometimes empty,

Games are easy, also cruel.

Lies fall from your lips, Like petals from a rose, Everything goes in circles.

Always moving, never ending, Living and loving and lying.

All things must come to an end;

The petals from the rose must fall and die, And so must 1; Damn, do must I.

Friendly Lover

A friend is but

a lover who's bed

is not for share...

...a lover is but

a friend with whom

you'd share the

utmost of intimacies!

The Magic of the Coffee Cup

Warm thoughts

over hot coffee,

our phrases mingle,

like the bean and the cream creating a parell in the taste in my mouth

and the savoring of my heart.

Oh the magic of the Coffee Cup!

A lifetime of twilight shadows

I had wondered alone

Knowing the echo of my heartbeat And wondering if the awe of starlight and comets and the fragrance of lilacs Would ever be shared with another.

A lifetime of splendid downs

I travel with you

Knowing the warmth of your heartbeat

In the comfort of sunrise

And I share the glory of love,

The splendour of oceans and the fragrance of life

With you alone, understanding, And part of me.
